6 – 8 servings Ingredients:
  • 6 Village Hearth hot dog buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions: Preheat oven to 350°
Cut buns into 1/2” cubes. Place in a greased, 8 inch square baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over buns; sprinkle with raisins.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Pour over buns. Lightly push down with a spoon until buns are covered and soaking up the liquid mixture.
Bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
