Serves 4 Ingredients:
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup half and half
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 slices Country Hearth Kids’ Choice Bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions: In a shallow dish, whisk together first 6 ingredients. Heat electric non-stick frying pan to 375°; Melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Dip 4 slices of bread into egg mixture, fry on each side until golden brown. Keep warm in oven and repeat with remaining butter and bread slices. Cover 4 slices with strawberries, top with remaining slices. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
