Directions:
Heat skittle or griddle to 350°.
In a shallow bowl, whisk together first 5 ingredients.
Melt butter on large skillet or griddle.
Dip bread slices in egg mixture and place on hot griddle.
Fry bread slices and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with maple syrup.

- 2 cups eggnog
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 8 – 10 slices Village Hearth Cottage Sourdough Bread
- 2-3 tablespoons butter
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Additional butter and maple syrup
