Directions:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together first 5 ingredients. Heat electric non-stick frying pan to 375. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Dip bread slices into egg mixture, fry on each side until golden brown. Cut in half, dust with powdered sugar and serve with syrup or jam.
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 slices any variety Country Hearth Bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
