Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and salt in a shallow dish.
Melt the butter on medium hot griddle or frying pan.
Dip bread slices in the egg mixture. Fry on each side for 3 – 5 minutes until golden brown. Serve with butter and maple syrup. - 4 eggs
