Serves 6 Ingredients:
  • 12 slices Country Hearth Apple Cinnamon Bread
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • Butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
Directions: Divide pie filling among 6 slices of bread, top with remaining slices to make sandwiches. Butter outsides of sandwiches, then cook in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown. Cut sandwiches in half. This step is optional; place halves on a rack in toaster oven and toast until extra crispy. Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl, then dip hot sandwiches in mixture until well covered.
