Directions:
Grease a 13″ x 9″ baking dish.
Cut the bread into 1/2″ cubes.
Arrange half the bread in the dish and top with pie filling. Cover with remaining bread.
In a large bowl, mix together eggs, milk, vanilla, and syrup. Pour over the bread, cover and refrigerate overnight or for 2 or more hours.
Remove from fridge and preheat oven to 350°. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 10-15 minutes until the center is firm and the top is slightly browned. Let cool for 10 minutes. Mix powdered sugar and milk, drizzle glaze over fritter bake. - 1 loaf Country Hearth Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Bread
