Mix all sauce ingredients until well blended. (This is actually better if allowed to set in the fridge for a few hours.)
Cook clams according to package directions. Spread tartar sauce on buns, top with lettuce and clams.
- 4 (6-oz)packages frozen clam strips
- Fresh leaf lettuce
- 6 Artisan Hearth Hoagie Rolls
- Tartar sauce (recipe below)
- 1 teaspoon finely minced sweet onion
- ½ teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon finely minced fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoon finely minced dill pickles
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup mayonnaise
